Elizabeth Thomas Homes in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood will address the southward movement of gentrification through both affordable housing, and spaces for education and entrepreneurship that empower the area’s long-established Black community to prosper in place. The development will include maker spaces and a food innovation center supporting the development of food-based businesses, plus approximately 119 affordable 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom housing units.
