United Indians of All Tribes Foundation (UIATF) in Seattle, used a grant from Amazon through the Communities of Concern Commission, was able to convert storage space at its Daybreak Star Cultural Center into an extended classroom for children K through 2nd grades. They are currently serving 13 children of essential workers. Windows, walls and floors were brought up to code. It’s now a space staff feel good teaching in, and they were able to expand their team and bring in new talent.
