What We Have Accomplished

Since its inception as a nonprofit corporation in May 2017, the Commission has secured approximately $1,500,000 in state grants and $50,000 in private contributions. The Commission, through five (5) rounds of funding, has awarded approximately $940,000 to member organization that resulted in funding 17 projects for predevelopment-related activities, repairs to community-owned facilities, or programs designed to reduce poverty in communities of color and low-income, rural populations.
